Position: Production / Development Technician (Advanced Manufacturing | Electromechanical)

Production / Development Technician (Hands-On | Advanced Manufacturing | Electromechanical) – Bristol (Onsite)

We’re looking for a Production / Development Technician to build, test, and help scale innovative hardware products used in cutting‑edge applications. Join a fast‑paced engineering environment where you’ll play a key role in manufacturing, testing, and improving complex systems. This is a highly hands‑on position suited to someone who enjoys working across assembly, process development, and continuous improvement.

You’ll Be
  • Building and testing complex machines and sub‑assemblies
  • Supporting manufacturing processes and introducing new products into production
  • Creating documentation, test procedures, and manufacturing instructions
  • Driving improvements in quality, efficiency, and factory processes
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to optimise designs for manufacture
  • Supporting compliance, inspection, and calibration activities
  • We’re looking for someone practical, detail-focused, and driven to build and improve real‑world systems.
What You’ll Need
  • Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills
  • Experience reading technical drawings (GD&T)
  • Hands‑on experience with tools, machining (milling/turning), or similar
  • Knowledge of wiring, soldering, and troubleshooting
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Good IT skills (e.g. Word, Excel) and clear documentation ability
Nice to Have
  • CNC or multi‑axis machining experience
  • CAD exposure (e.g. fixtures or tooling design)
  • Experience with robotics, metrology, or calibration
  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems (e.g. MRP)
