The Best Connection are currently recruiting a Sewing Machinist to work in a production facility based in Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Duties to include but not limited to:

Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture products
Cut, measure, and prepare fabrics to specified dimensions
Sew hems, seams, and reinforced edges to ensure durability for outdoor use
Follow technical drawings, patterns, and production specifications accurately
Attach components such as labels where required
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure consistency and high standards
Maintain sewing machines, including basic troubleshooting and routine cleaning
Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines

This is an ongoing, seasonal contract, starting as soon as possible.

Working hours are Monday to Friday.

The pay rate is £13.23 per hour, weekly pay.
