Temporary Painter / Workshop Operative - approx. 1 month's work
Location: Depot-based - Warrington
Contract: Temporary 4 week contract
Pay: £14.00 an hour
Hours: Full-time, day shifts
We are currently recruiting a Temporary Painter / Workshop Operative to support a busy industrial workshop. This role focuses on preparing and painting equipment/machinery to ensure it is clean, safe, and presentable. This is a practical, hands‑on role suited to someone reliable who is happy working in a workshop environment and available for temporary work.
Key Responsibilities- Basic surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, and masking
- Painting and touch‑ups using spray or hand methods
- Assisting with refurbishment of equipment
- Following all health & safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Outside working will feature
- Previous painting or decorating experience preferred
- Experience in a workshop, industrial, or manual role is an advantage
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands‑on work Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Temporary, full-time work for 4 weeks initially
- £14.00 an hour
- Day shifts
- Immediate start available
