Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment, supporting the maintenance and reliability of a wide range of production machinery and site equipment.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced production setting, carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance activities to minimise downtime and maximise operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance across production machinery and equipment. Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults in a timely manner. Support the smooth operation of critical production lines and site assets. Maintain accurate electronic maintenance records and work logs. Order and follow up on spare parts as required. Liaise with contractors and equipment manufacturers when necessary. Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and engineering best practices.

Provide clear handovers between shifts and support the wider engineering team.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with proven workplace experience. Multi-skilled engineering capability with electrical and mechanical maintenance experience. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment. Experience carrying out both reactive and preventative maintenance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail, reliability and a proactive approach. Desirable

Skills:

HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Apprentice-trained background.

Experience with in print, packaging, paper converting, FMCG or other heavy industrial environments. Experience working with high-speed production machinery. Full, clean driving licence. Benefits Include:
