We're channeling expertise in biology, digitalisation and biomanufacturing to accelerate sustainable and ethical novel food, materials and cosmetics products like chocolate, coffee and vanilla alternatives, produced using fermentation.

Extracellular are looking for a Laboratory Technician to support the research team in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the research team has a clean working environment and the necessary equipment, materials and consumables to successfully complete research projects. This role requires someone who has a meticulous eye for detail and can follow established processes and procedures.

• You will have experience working in a laboratory environment and understand standard operating procedures in a life sciences lab.
• You’ll need to be comfortable with routine lab organisation and cleaning operations with an ability to read, understand and implement instructions accurately.
• You’ll need to have excellent time management skills and can work through tasks to completion methodically.
• You have a passion for operational excellence and a desire to build and execute tasks to a high standard.
• You’ll need excellent organisational skills and a great attention to detail.
• You’ll need to be a genuine team-player who asks for help when it’s needed and offers help when it isn’t.
