Cylinder Operative

Responsibilities

• Be at the forefront of our cylinder gases ensuring world productivity and everyday safety.
• Handle and sort gas cylinders with excellent attention to detail, including unloading and loading onto vehicles.
• Fill cylinders to the highest quality standards and meet set targets.
• Inspect cylinders before and after filling, and seal in line with requirements.
• Complete documentation, conduct daily pre‑filling inspection checks, and manage cylinders needing maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, organised, tidy and well‑maintained work area and site to the highest standard.
• Promote a safety‑first environment, actively follow and promote safe practices, and support manager and team as needed.
• Perform manual handling of cylinders and forklift driving; full training and suitable equipment will be provided.

• Excellent communication and listening skills; enjoy teamwork and developing positive relationships.
• Self‑starter, organised and passionate about safe job completion.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills through courses and on‑the‑job learning.
• Adaptable and flexible in dynamic work environments.
