Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm

Hourly rate: £13.00 per hour

gap personnel Bristol are operating as an employment business and currently looking to recruit a Stores Person for our client based in central Bristol, BS1. As a Stores Person, you will be accountable for material/component 1st stage inspection, distribution, accuracy, and departmental traceability. This will include internal machined parts, purchased parts and raw materials.

Responsibilities

Counting, booking, and processing of machined components, purchased parts/raw materials.
Counting, booking, and processing of outbound material for ‘Sub-Con’ operations.
Allocation, control, issue and marshalling of materials between different work locations.
Liaising with all departments when required. If, when discrepancies are found.
Ability to report discrepancies, missing paperwork directly to suppliers.

Qualifications

Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
Strong attention to detail and maintain focus.
Health and Safety conscious and attentive.
Interest in helping to develop the departmental processes and strategy.
