Job Purpose
Working as a key member of the printing team, you will assist in making ready, running and maintaining the print machine in a safe manner, whilst ensuring optimum output to a high-quality standard. Conduct ancillary tasks to maintain the print machine with raw materials and sundries.Specific Responsibilities
- Assist the department to achieve target run speeds and obtain optimum performance.
- Follow Pecas plan and coordinate material supply with the forklift driver.
- Produce Pecas tickets for scrap, rejected or returned loads and to secure loads prior to removal from area.
- Assist in the preparation of subsequent jobs and during make readies to achieve efficient change over between jobs, minimizing lost production time.
- Ensure machine area is kept clean and tidy.
- Help machine crews to achieve efficient running and cover meal breaks.
- Carry out all duties in a safe and efficient manner whilst conforming to H&S procedures.
- Undertake Behavioural Based Safety (BBS) training.
