We are looking for a Production Operative to join our small team that will be supporting all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards. Working hours are Monday to Friday  with 1 hour break. 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Free parking on-site. Own transport required due to location.

Duties and responsibilities Paste manufacture. Production area preparation, weighing & batching raw materials, mixing & packing, Plant cleaning Keeping track of raw materials and reordering and/or notifying appropriate personnel of material shortages Casting manufacture as required, preparing, casting, sanding and finishing/labeling of all panel types. Assisting with Acoustic manufacture as required. Including, material preparation, coating operations, drying, sanding and finishing and Acoustic related casting production.

Assist and work with team members with construction/implementation of internal projects. Assist with stock counting and recording. Working in distribution when required, packing/preparing orders ensuring the packing is timely, accurate, safe, secure and appropriately labelled for destination. Internal & external telephone communication. Counterbalance fork truck operation including in house production operations as well as receiving and loading orders, materials as required.

(Existing experience welcome but training will be provided) Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, report any potential hazards or unsafe procedures. Maintaining and encouraging adherence to good health and safety practices. Keep all working areas clean and tidy, safe and uncluttered. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, which may be updated from time to time. Any other appropriate duties as requested to contribute towards and ensure the growth and success of the company.

Experience and qualifications Previous manufacturing experience recommended but not required
