Manpower UK is recruiting two CNC Machine Operators to join a permanent production team in Bristol, with a salary up to £34,500 per annum.

This role involves operating CNC milling machinery to produce aluminium components, loading materials, and performing quality checks to maintain accuracy and traceability.

Working on a rotating shift pattern, operators will ensure production targets are met safely and efficiently.

Previous CNC machine operating experience is required, though training and development are available for those seeking long-term career growth within a stable manufacturing business.

We''re recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Bristol for 2 CNC Operators to join their production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating CNC milling machines
  • Loading materials and components into CNC machinery
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Producing components to drawing specifications
  • Carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment
  • Ensuring part conformity and maintaining material traceability
  • Reporting equipment issues to Engineering and Quality teams
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities within the machining department
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
What We''re Looking For

Essential

  • Previous CNC machine operating experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometres and gauges
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment

Desirable

  • Experience with Haas, Mazak or Hurco machines, although we will consider all CNC experience.
  • Experience editing CNC programmes
  • Experience machining aluminium
  • Experience creating fixtures and clamping arrangements
