We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives and Packing Operatives to join our team at our Kerry Portbury site in Bristol on a permanent full-time day shift basis
Shifts are on a two week rotating basis
- Week 1 Monday
- Friday - (Apply online only) and Week 2 Monday

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, offering the opportunity to work across a variety of departments including warehouse operations, packing lines, production support and dispatch. Due to the location of the site, having your own transport is essential
Our Portbury site is a dry blending and mixing facility where we produce flavour blends for some of the world's best-known brands. Every week, hundreds of tonnes of product are accurately measured, blended and packed for our customers
What will you do?
As a Warehouse or Packing Operative, you may be required to work across different departments undertaking the following duties
Maintain high standards of work, accuracy and attention to detail
Pack products safely and efficiently in line with customer and company requirements
Pick, store and move materials in line with production schedules, stock rotation procedures and site standards
Palletise finished products and prepare them for storage or dispatch
Support production operations to ensure products are manufactured and packed to schedule
Work across different factory departments as required to support operational demands
Meet quality, food safety, health and safety and productivity targets
Follow company procedures and safe working practices, reporting any issues promptly
Adhere to hygiene, housekeeping and clean-as-you-go standards
Complete all required paperwork and system updates accurately
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of factory operations
The ability to meet the physical demands of the role. Some departments require manual handling and lifting/moving products weighing up to 25kg
What do you need to be successful?
Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production or packing environment
Flexibility and willingness to work across different departments and tasks
A strong focus on quality, safety and attention to detail
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills and the ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and the ability to read, understand and communicate effectively in English
Basic IT/PC skills
SAP experience would be advantageous but is not essential
Forklift Truck (FLT) and/or Power Pallet Truck (PPT) experience would be beneficial but not required
The ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and moving products up to 25kg in certain areas
Own transport is essential due to the location of the site
