Saw Operator £32,000 £ 34,500, with overtime available at time and a half We are recruiting on behalf of a leading local business that designs and manufactures specialist machinery. They are seeking a permanent Saw Operator to join their team, offering an excellent package as well as genuine progression opportunities. Your duties will include:
Reading drawings and instructions to meet customer requirements Operating saw machinery for individual and batch cutting Operating equipment safely, with care for yourself and others Maintaining product quality throughout the cutting process Keeping the work area tidy and clearing any spillages promptly What we are looking for:
The ability to work well as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication with managers and colleagues Good organisation and the ability to plan work activities effectively In return, you can expect a generous rate of pay, a Monday to Friday day-shift working pattern, overtime opportunities, and an early 1.15 pm finish on Fridays.
