Senior Production Planner Gainsborough | £40,000 - £45,000 | FMCG Elevation Recruitment Group is working exclusively with a well-established FMCG manufacturer in Gainsborough to appoint a Senior Production Planner. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced planning professional to take ownership of the production schedule and lead a small planning team within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.

The Role As Senior Production Planner, you will take the lead on production scheduling, ensuring the seamless flow of materials and resources to meet customer demand while maintaining efficiency and minimising waste. Leading a team of three planners, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement across the planning function.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing and managing the master production schedule to meet customer service levels and business targets Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of three production planners Liaising closely with procurement, manufacturing, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and production continuity Balancing capacity against demand, identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks Monitoring stock levels and working closely with the supply chain team to optimise inventory Reporting on planning performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement Supporting the wider business with S&OP processes and forecasting accuracy About You Proven experience in a production planning role within an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment Previous experience leading or supervising a team is essential Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across departments A proactive, analytical approach with strong problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment What's on Offer Salary of £40,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience The opportunity to lead and develop your own team A key role within a growing FMCG business
