Job Summary At our GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft. Here, you'll put your skills into work you can be proud of, taking on big challenges alongside experienced people and seeing the impact of what you make travel around the world.

It's work that tests your skills, builds your experience and gives you a real sense of achievement. This is a full-time, permanent position on the following 7am - 7pm shift pattern (which includes 25% shift premium):
Week 1:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2:
Thursday, Friday There is opportunity to work night shifts once fully trained which incurs an additional 33% shift premium. How You'll Contribute In this role, you'll work with materials including Titanium, Aluminium and Stainless Steel, carrying our a variety of work including:
Swaging Pipe Bending Drilling, Reaming & Countersinking Operating relevant fabrication machinery What You'll Bring You'll need a recognised level 3 apprenticeship (NVQ/C&G) or equivalent in a relevant fabrication field , along with:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to work to standard operating procedures Must be able to work in small teams with Team Leaders Self-motivated team player with good communication skills Ability to operate CNC Machinery (Unison Pipe Bending machines, Power Presses, CNC Drilling & routering) Worked with us before? Coming back is easier than you might think. If you previously worked at GKN Aerospace as a Fabricator, there's no interview, just a check of your qualification stamps.

What We'll Offer Once you're on board you'll get the following perks and benefits: A total package of £57,800 (based on the current Day shift pattern at 25% shift allowance  built in overtime) - Please note shift patterns are subject to change & we are a 24/7 facility.

Standard starting salary of £36,717 for an initial 12 week training period, followed by £38,220 & additional premiums as above based on business needs. In addition to:
