DescriptionReporting to the Senior PR Manager and Team Leader, the Digital Communications Executive will play an important role with respect to communications s position supports the wider Communications team by creating and publishing digital content across multiple platforms. The role is ideal for someone with strong digital skills, creativity and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Support on the development and delivery of communications campaigns and tactics to positively raise the profile of the firm and its lawyers.
- Build effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business (including partners and business development/marketing/bids colleagues).
- Create digital content (including graphics and video) for the firm's communications channels (including social media, website, intranet and digital newsletters).
- Create, schedule and post content across the firm's social media accounts.
- Develop an advisory skillset with respect to social media, covering measurement and best practice principles.
- Assist with tracking digital communications performance metrics and produce reports and analysis on the firm’s comms activities.
- Assist in the identification and use of AI tools (e.g., for content creation and analytics) to improve the efficiency, creativity and effectiveness of digital communications.
- The successful candidate may be required to travel to and work from the firm’s offices across the UK outside of the individual’s home office location.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience of creating, posting and measuring social media content, including graphics and short‑form video.
- Have a working knowledge of creative and analytics tools (e.g. Adobe suite, video editing tools, and social media analytics dashboards).
- Be resilient, highly organised, able to effectively prioritise work, and meet deadlines.
- Have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Be attentive and use calls and meetings with stakeholders as an opportunity to gain a good understanding of key messaging as well as planned timings for upcoming campaigns while also developing internal relationships.
- Be able to quickly develop a good understanding of the firm's language style and brand guidelines.
- Be trustworthy with sensitive and confidential information.
- Have a willingness to expand knowledge/skills through taking advantage of learning and development opportunities.
- Have the aptitude and ability to shift priorities and tasks in response to business needs.
- Proactively share information, skills, knowledge and ideas with others.
- Be degree educated or equivalent.
