Working closely with Business Development, Brand and Marketing Communications teams - as well as Partners, Directors and senior fee-earners - you will help shape and execute an impactful events programme aligned with strategic priorities across jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Business Development colleagues to develop and deliver an events programme aligned with service line priorities and target markets. Contribute creative ideas for innovative formats, venues and experiences that differentiate the firm and maximise client engagement. Support adherence to standardised workflows, governance processes and best practice. Research and assess event requests, providing informed recommendations to maximise impact and ROI.
Ensure all events comply with firm policies, brand standards, financial controls and relevant regulatory considerations. Manage end-to-end delivery of a broad range of events, including seminars, webinars, conferences, round tables, thought-leadership events and industry exhibitions. Coordinate client entertainment and corporate hospitality activities. Work closely with colleagues across jurisdictions to provide consistent, high-quality event support. Oversee logistics including venues, suppliers, catering, production, branding and merchandise, ensuring seamless integration with marketing campaigns.
Manage budgets, monitor spend and identify opportunities for cost optimisation without compromising quality. Attend events as required to oversee delivery and stakeholder management - including occasional overseas travel. Manage invitations, RSVPs and attendance tracking, ensuring effective CRM integration to support client intelligence and BD activity. Produce post-event reports covering attendance analysis, budget tracking and insights to inform future planning. Skills, Knowledge & Experience 3-4 years' experience in an events role, with responsibility for planning and delivering multiple corporate events simultaneously.
Strong logistics, supplier coordination, budgeting and attendee management experience. Proficiency with CRM, email marketing and event management platforms. Tech-savvy with strong Microsoft Office skills. Experience delivering virtual and hybrid events is desirable. Background in professional services or a corporate environment, with an understanding of client-focused standards and expectations. Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders. Confident managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
