A leading PR and communications agency is looking for an experienced PR Account Director to join its growing team, working across a varied portfolio of corporate and financial communications clients.
This is a senior, client facing role for an ambitious PR professional who enjoys operating at a strategic level, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and delivering high-impact communications campaigns.

The Role   As PR Account Director, you will take ownership of key client relationships and lead integrated corporate and financial communications programmes. You will act as a senior strategic adviser to clients while working closely with the wider agency team to deliver creative, commercially focused campaigns.
You will be responsible for:
Leading and developing a portfolio of corporate and financial communications accounts

Building strong, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders

Developing and delivering strategic PR and communications campaigns

Providing senior counsel and strategic communications advice

Leading media relations, thought leadership and corporate communications programmes

Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and generate new business

Leading pitches, proposals and new business activity

Managing and mentoring Account Managers, Executives and wider account teams

Overseeing campaign delivery, budgets, timelines and client reporting

Developing compelling content and communications strategies

Keeping ahead of developments across business, finance, politics, media and the wider corporate landscape

About You   We are looking for an experienced agency PR professional who is comfortable operating at a senior level and has a strong interest in corporate and financial communications.
You will ideally have:
Proven experience at Account Director or strong Senior Account Manager level

Excellent agency-side PR and communications experience

Experience across corporate communications, financial PR or professional services

Strong strategic thinking and communications skills

Excellent knowledge of the UK media landscape

Confidence advising and influencing senior stakeholders

Experience managing, mentoring and developing junior team members

Commercial awareness with the ability to identify account growth opportunities

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

A proactive, ambitious and collaborative approach
