Senior Community Development Practitioner – Race Equity

We are looking for an enthusiastic senior community development practitioner to join the community development team  role will focus on equity and inclusion, applying asset‑based principles to drive sustainable community capacity, strengthen equity voices and principles, and assist services and partners to deliver equitable and inclusive services across the city. This citywide role focuses on race equity.

Responsibilities
  • Apply asset‑based principles to drive sustainable community capacity.
  • Strengthen equity voices and principles across the community.
  • Assist services and partners to deliver equitable and inclusive services.
  • Contribute to addressing persistent social inequity and inclusion in the city.
  • Focus on race equity initiatives and outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Relevant experience and knowledge in community development, equity, and inclusion.
  • Ability to apply asset‑based social work principles.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience working with diverse communities and addressing social inequities.
  • Appreciation for cultural diversity and a commitment to equity.
