Description Help Shape the Future of Health and Wellbeing in Moray

Moray Leisure Centre is seeking enthusiastic, committed and community-minded individuals to join our Board of Directors and help shape the future of oneof Moray’s leading leisure and wellbeing organisations.

As a charitable community organisation, Moray Leisure Centre plays a vitalrole in improving health, wellbeing and quality of life across Moray.

Through a wide range of recreational, sporting and educational activities,together with our affordable Fit Life membership programme, we support peopleof all ages and abilities to lead healthier, more active lives.

We are currently looking to appoint Volunteer Board Directors who can bring their skills, experience and fresh perspectives to the strategic leadership and governance of the organisation.

Whether your background is in business, finance, health and social care,marketing, education, community development, human resources, legal services,digital innovation, or another relevant field, we would love to hear from you.

What Does the Role Involve?
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight
  • Support the long‑term sustainability and development of Moray Leisure Centre
  • Ensure effective governance and accountability
  • Act as an ambassador for the organisation within the community
  • Contribute to key decisions that help improve health and wellbeing outcomes across Moray
  • Attend four quarterly Board meetings and one Annual General Meeting each year

Previous Board experience is welcome but not essential. We value diversity of thought, experience and background and encourage applications from all sections of the community.
