Job summary
Chew Medical Practice has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic band 5 / 6 Nurse to join our busy and friendly general practice team. The position would be suitable for a newly qualified nurse or experienced nurse looking to develop their skills within primary care.
Job share applications will be considered.
Interviews will be held on Wednesday, 18th March 2026.

Job responsibilities- Work as an effective team member and promote a multi‑agency collaborative approach to health care.
- Follow agreed protocols with referral to senior nurses and GP's as appropriate.
- Ensure that accurate record keeping and communication is maintained to ensure efficient evaluation and monitoring.
- Attend and participate in practice meetings.
- A registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient‑centred attitude.
- Organised, proactive and adaptable in a busy general practice environment.
- Committed to ongoing professional development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
