Practice Nurse – Hemel Hempstead (Locum, Part‑time)

Dream Medical are currently assisting a GP surgery in recruiting a Practice Nurse for their surgery in Hemel Hempstead. The position is locum with a view to go permanent, with part‑time hours working 3 days a week starting March 2016. The Practice Nurse is part of a nursing team responsible for ensuring that the practice provides an optimum service of nursing care relevant to the practice population.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Asthma
• Diabetic review
• Hypertension Clinic
• IHD Clinic
• COPD Clinic
• Immunisation Vaccination Clinic
• Holiday Vaccination Clinic
• Flu Vaccination Clinic
• Cervical Smears
• Family Planning
• Routine treatment in general clinics, including wound management

Excellent hourly rates.
