Qualified Registered Adult Nurse with 6-12 months post‑registration experience, active NMC Registration, and completed preceptorship or equivalent programme. This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or those in preceptorship. Sponsorship is not offered.

You will be working on the Rehab and Recovery ward, a comprehensive rehabilitation service that supports people with complex mental health needs. We align our services with the recommendations of the Joint Commissioning Panel for Mental Health (JCPMH) to provide high‑quality care that facilitates transitions back home or into community services wherever possible.

Located 5 minutes from Bristol Parkway train station and 10 minutes from Bristol Temple Meads, with access to major motorways and the South West, Wales, and London.

What you'll be doing

The post holder will deliver high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care to a defined group of patients, assess, plan, implement, and review care plans in partnership with patients and their families. They will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate clinical records, and ensure effective communication with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

The role includes supervising and supporting nursing and healthcare assistant staff, acting as Nurse in Charge when required, contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding, medicines management, and professional standards. The post holder will also support the development of junior staff and student nurses while maintaining their own professional development and adherence to the NMC Code and organisational policies.

You will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
