• Plan and provide specialist palliative care for patients admitted to the inpatient unit.
• Support patients’ families throughout the care journey.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, doctors, social workers, and other health professionals to deliver holistic, person‑centred care.
• Participate in shift planning, including rotating shifts that cover weekend and night duties.
• Take part in ongoing education and training to maintain and advance clinical knowledge.

• Registered Nurse, Band 5.
• Minimum one year of recent clinical experience in a hospital trust or community setting.
• Desirable: prior experience in palliative care.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Successful Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
• Proof of vaccination history or immunity tests.
• The role is exempt from the ROA.
• Consideration will be given to applicants from other registered professions (e.g., paramedics, mental health nurses, nursing associates).
• Applicants must not be third‑year students.

• Salary comparable to NHS Band 5 – £32,073 to £39,043 per year (full‑time). Flexible hours of 37.5 or 30 hours per week for the right candidate.
• Rotating shift pattern with weekend and night shifts.
