Job Responsibilities

36 hours per week | 8am‑8pm | 3 shifts per week (weekend flexibility required)

Location: South West covering Gloucester, Cheltenham, Somerset, Yeovil, Glastonbury, Wiltshire, Melksham.

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 + £4,200 car allowance or company car.

Deliver a high‑quality, lifesaving lung cancer screening service across mobile locations; work as part of a 7‑day service including bank holidays; follow a standard 12‑hour shift pattern while supporting early diagnosis of lung cancer and other respiratory conditions.

• Run virtual and face‑to‑face nurse‑led clinics, assessing patient risk and referring high‑risk individuals for Low‑Dose CT.
• Deliver high‑quality respiratory assessments and offer smoking cessation support as part of the screening pathway.
• Provide effective health promotion and tailored patient education.
• Recognise and expedite safeguarding concerns, red‑flag symptoms, or emergencies.
• Maintain required accreditations (IRMER on induction; ARTP for spirometry where needed).

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Confident using a range of IT systems and software.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and further training.
• Full, clean UK driving licence with willingness to work across mobile sites.
