Overview

Lead Nurse – Bristol. Full-time position (negotiable part-time). Salary: £53,500 – £55,500 per annum (DOE, negotiable). A desirable practice in Bristol seeks a permanent Lead Nurse to join a well-established, single-site practice serving a patient population of around 15,000. The role is based just outside of Bristol in a bright and welcoming clinic with a positive clinical team.

The Lead Nurse will be a well-established practice nurse with a solid clinical background, experience in developing practice services, managing a clinical team, and general knowledge of internal HR procedures. • Provide leadership and management within a clinical setting.
• Develop and implement practice services and workflows.
• Lead and support the clinical team, with accountability for quality and patient care.
• Engage with internal HR processes and contribute to team development and performance management.
• Support service expansion initiatives and improve practice operations.
• Promote high standards of patient care and foster a friendly, collaborative culture within the team.

• Proven leadership/managerial experience within a clinical setting.
• Diabetes or Respiratory Diploma (DESIRABLE).
• Prescribing qualification (DESIRABLE).
• General treatment room skills, including Cytology, Baby/Travel Immunisations, and Vaccinations.
