Occupational Health Nurse

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Occupational Health Nurse to join our supportive and experienced Occupational Health Service. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver a wide range of occupational health services, supporting the health, wellbeing and attendance of employees across NHS organisations and external clients. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-based occupational health advice, undertake fitness for work assessments, health screening and health surveillance activities, and contribute to the ongoing development of a high-quality, customer-focused service.

This is a hybrid role, with opportunities to work across our clinic locations in Bristol and Weston, as well as at external client sites when required. The postholder will:

• Deliver high quality, evidence based occupational health services, ensuring compliance with NHS and legislative standards.
• Provide clinical advice and management, including fitness for work assessments, health screening and health surveillance both for NHS partners and external customers.
• Nurse lead for smaller contracts and/or assist senior occupational health nurses to lead larger contracts, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a primary point of contact for matters related to health at work and representing the service at meetings as required.
• Support and mentor junior staff, promoting professional development and evidence-based practice.
