Hours:
30 hours per week - Shift Pattern: 6 hours a day, 5 days a week

Key Responsibilities- Laundry
- Collect, wash, fold, and store patient bedding using provided laundry baskets
- Wash scrubs with unscented detergent, tumble dry, fold by colour/size, and store them appropriately
- Adhere to specific cleaning guidelines available on the washing machine and tumble dryer doors
- Consultation and Clinical Rooms
- Clean rooms once daily and perform a thorough rota wash weekly
- Vacuum, mop, and tidy surfaces
- Check and replenish stock levels in drawers/cupboards
- Stairwells and Corridors
- Sweep/vacuum and mop daily
- Conduct weekly rota washing using disinfectant spray
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines, using wet floor signs during cleaning
- Patient Care
- Feed Room:
Perform twice‑daily infection control tasks and maintain a checklist - Exercise Runs:
Daily scrubbing and spraying of run grass, managing contact time, and emptying waste bins as needed
- Feed Room:
- Deliveries
- Assist with incoming stock deliveries, ensuring packages are distributed to the correct areas of the hospital
- Opportunities for Growth

- Full animal handling training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills and strong empathy
- Experience in a similar hospital role is ideal
- Resilience and ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
- Positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills

In line with the National Minimum Wage - Annual Leave:
