We are actively hiring across the United Kingdom (Kent, Norfolk, Bristol, Hertfordshire) for a Arborist Climbers with minimum of 2 years experience. The Arborist Climber will be responsible for performing tree climbing, pruning, and dismantling tasks as part of a professional tree care team. Daily tasks include ensuring the safety of yourself and the team, using climbing equipment and machinery efficiently, caring for trees to professional standards, and maintaining equipment.
The role also includes responding to tree safety issues and contributing to providing excellent service to clients.
- Proficiency in tree climbing, pruning, dismantling, and related arboricultural techniques
- Experience operating arboriculture equipment, including chainsaws, climbing gear, and wood chippers
- Knowledge of tree species, pest and disease management, and related environmental regulations
- Strong focus on safety protocols, risk assessment, and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a close-knit team
- Relevant certifications such as NPTC qualifications (e.g., CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39) are required
- A full, clean driving license is essential; a towing license is advantageous
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Commitment to professionalism, responsibility, and continuous learning
