Veterinary Surgeon - Fixed Term Contract for 15 months
Salary up to £56,000 FTE DOE
About the roleThis is a 36‑hour per week position worked over four days, with participation in a shared weekend rota. The role is split across two branches, Zetland Hospital and Fishponds. The weekly schedule is Monday and Tuesday at Fishponds, Wednesday at Zetland Hospital (ward vet and consulting), Thursday in a float role providing sick and holiday cover, and Friday as a day off.
Working hours are 8:30am to 6:30pm, with no Saturdays required. We would also consider a part‑time arrangement (Monday to Wednesday), which would be a 28‑hour week.
Fishponds is a busy two‑vet practice, offering both surgery and consulting, supported by an experienced team. This role would suit either a recent graduate or an experienced vet confident in both surgical and consulting duties.
Join our experienced teamYou will be well supported by our experienced (and lovely) colleagues with Certificates in Surgery, Cardiology, Feline medicine and Small Animal Medicine. We also have certificates ‘ln-Progress’ and a wealth of other experience and qualifications across our branches in other handy subjects such as Behaviour, Pain Management and Acupuncture.
