Waterways Operative role based at Doncaster depot (Grey Friars Road, DN1 1NQ
) includes outdoor maintenance of canal infrastructure and operation of locks, bridges, and assets. The role operates under annualised hours with 5 days out of 7, including weekends and statutory holidays, and involves joining a 24-hour standby team providing emergency cover.
Based in Doncaster, you will travel across the Sheffield and South Yorkshire Navigation with occasional support in other areas.
