Hours:

Monday to Friday, core hours Monday to Thursday 7 am – 4 pm (early finish Friday 7 am – 11 am). Flexible start time around core hours.

• Lead and motivate a team of quality inspectors.
• Responsible for training and personal development of the team.
• Manage throughput of finished goods and day‑to‑day quality management of the sub‑contract supplier base.
• Prepare and maintain FMEA and FAIR documents.
• Support documentation and record‑keeping for quality activities.
• Perform CMM programming with Aberlink.
• Act as the link between inspectors and Quality Manager.
• Address quality issues and deliver practical solutions on the shop floor and to colleagues.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, route cards, process instructions, and inspection procedures to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Use all types of standard measuring equipment as required.
• Work with and write reports in accordance with AS9102.

• Experience in quality engineering or quality management, preferably in aerospace or precision engineering.
• Experience supervising a small team of quality inspectors.
• Competent in CMM programming; experience with Aberlink is desirable but training can be provided.
• Related engineering background and/or City & Guilds/NVQ, HNC/D, or degree education.
• Relevant quality‑related qualifications preferred.
