Job Description

Are you a Quality Engineer with experience in aerospace manufacturing looking to join a growing precision engineering business? We are seeking a motivated individual to support quality, compliance and continuous improvement activities across a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and quality processes.
  • Contribute to NPI activities, including APQP, FMEA, PPAP, Quality Plans and Control Plans.
  • Compile and review FAIRs, ensuring all supporting documentation is compliant.
  • Verify supplier approvals, certifications and special process accreditations.
  • Review manufacturing and inspection records to ensure compliance and traceability.
  • Support customer quality documentation, contract reviews and specification management.
  • Assist with AS9100 compliance, internal audits and customer audits.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in a Quality Engineering role within manufacturing.
  • Background in low-volume, high-quality machining or precision engineering.
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality systems and standards.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Experience with FAIRs, root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable
  • HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent technical qualification.
  • AS9100 Internal Auditor qualification.
  • Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA and Control Plans.
