Job Description
Are you a Quality Engineer with experience in aerospace manufacturing looking to join a growing precision engineering business? We are seeking a motivated individual to support quality, compliance and continuous improvement activities across a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and quality processes.
- Contribute to NPI activities, including APQP, FMEA, PPAP, Quality Plans and Control Plans.
- Compile and review FAIRs, ensuring all supporting documentation is compliant.
- Verify supplier approvals, certifications and special process accreditations.
- Review manufacturing and inspection records to ensure compliance and traceability.
- Support customer quality documentation, contract reviews and specification management.
- Assist with AS9100 compliance, internal audits and customer audits.
- Experience in a Quality Engineering role within manufacturing.
- Background in low-volume, high-quality machining or precision engineering.
- Knowledge of aerospace quality systems and standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience with FAIRs, root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent technical qualification.
- AS9100 Internal Auditor qualification.
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA and Control Plans.
- £35,000 - £42,500 salary depending on experience.
- Early finish every Friday.
