Beach Baker are delighted to be partnering with a leading property company as retained recruiters for their Bristol office. This exciting role forms part of an ambitious growth plan driven by continued investment and portfolio expansion.

We are pleased to be marketing a newly created position that offers the successful Property Manager a broad and varied role, with genuine scope to influence the delivery and direction of property management services across a substantial commercial portfolio.

About the Company

Our client is a leading privately owned investment and property management company with a significant presence in the South West.

Their core activities include the acquisition, asset management and property management of commercial real estate, supported by an experienced in‑house team of asset managers, property managers and surveying professionals.

The business manages an extensive portfolio comprising hundreds of commercial properties, thousands of occupiers and millions of square feet of retail, industrial and mixed‑use assets.

About the Team

The Bristol office offers a supportive, collaborative and professional working environment. Due to continued growth and an internal promotion, the team is looking to appoint an additional Property Manager to support its ongoing success.

Working alongside experienced property and asset management professionals, you'll benefit from a highly collaborative culture where ideas are encouraged, contributions are valued, and career development is actively supported. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team with ambitious plans and a strong track record in the market.

The Role

This position offers the chance to play an influential role within a growing team where your contribution will be recognised and valued from day one.

The successful candidate will assist with and manage a predominantly industrial and retail portfolio across the South West and South Wales. Reporting directly to the Head of Property Management and working closely with colleagues across the wider property management and asset management functions, responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong relationships with tenants, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
  • Overseeing the day‑to‑day management of a diverse commercial property portfolio.
  • Working alongside Asset Managers and operational teams to prepare annual service charge budgets and strategies, ensuring lease compliance and maximising recoverability.
  • Managing quarterly property management and health & safety meetings whilst ensuring statutory compliance requirements are met and documented.
  • Progressing tenant applications relating to assignments, subletting and landlord consents for alterations.
  • Managing and reviewing service provider contracts and tender processes to ensure value for money is achieved and maintained.
  • Assisting in the implementation of asset management initiatives to enhance portfolio performance.
Skills & Experience

Ideally, you will be MRICS qualified, although this is not essential. Candidates should have at least two years' experience within commercial property management and be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities.
  • Experience managing service charges and third‑party contractors.
  • Good commercial awareness and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Experience using property management software systems.
Package & Benefits
  • Up to £50,000 basic salary
  • Car allowance (£4,000+)
  • Discretionary bonus
  • 27 days annual leave
  • Pension scheme
  • Private medical cover
  • Life assurance
  • Free parking
