Position OverviewAs a Continental Chef, you’ll oversee daily kitchen operations, manage a diverse team, and design innovative menus that reflect culinary trends and seasonal ingredients. You’ll be responsible for maintaining food safety standards, training staff, and collaborating with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service.
This role is ideal for chefs with supervisory experience, strong organizational skills, and a background in European cuisine—especially those with experience working with fresh dough pizza.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure efficient food production
- Develop and design menus that incorporate seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure it is in good working order
- Work with fresh dough pizza and contribute to menu innovation
- Uphold high standards of presentation, flavor, and consistency in all dishes
- Proven experience supervising kitchen teams in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Excellent team management and leadership skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in continental cuisine and pizza preparation (preferred)
