- Annual salary of £27,596.25

- Ensure the smooth running of the kitchen at all times.
- Store, prepare and serve food and beverage items in accordance with all Food Safety and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Clean and store equipment, crockery, cutlery and utensils in a safe and hygienic manner.
- Daily cleaning of all areas of the kitchen using appropriate equipment, chemicals and work methods.
- Maintain documentation duties and procedures for efficiency and accuracy (e.g., temperature of food and equipment).
- Observe and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, confidentiality, courtesy and consideration for all people we support and for colleagues.
- Segregate and promptly remove waste to designated collection points, in accordance with the Company’s Safe Waste Handling Procedure.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and cleaned appropriately. Report any maintenance problems to the Manager promptly and keep accurate records.
- Undertake some housekeeping and cleaning duties as and when required.
- Understanding of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
- Good basic comprehension of English language, including basic literacy and numerical skills (e.g., GCSE level or equivalent).
