4 Clifton Village on a part-time basis. This role offers 10 hours per week, usually worked over 2 short morning shifts on a Monday and Tuesday.

This role would suit someone who has good cooking skills and some professional kitchen experience, capable of producing a full English breakfast (we all know how important a good breakfast is to start the day!)!

If you’re an early bird looking to have afternoons and evenings free for other commitments (be that studies, other work or family), this may be the role for you!

• 10 hours per week worked over 2 morning shifts each week (rota-based to include weekends and weekdays)
• £13 per hour plus £750 per year in bonuses
• Starting at 6am on weekdays and 7am on weekends - an average shift is 5 hours long so you'll be finished by 11am on most days (possibly 12pm for those up for a bit of overtime).
• You will, for the most part, be working independently. As such, confidence in a professional kitchen environment is preferred.
• Food hygiene and food allergen training and certificates can be arranged for those who do not have them

You will get in and start cooking the food that has been prepped for you the day before - this could be cooking off sausages, mushrooms, bacon, hash browns and keeping them hot in preparation for the orders you will get. Breakfast service starts at 7am on weekdays and 8am on weekends so you have an hour to 'prep' before guests start coming in.

Eggs are prepared to order and all food is plated by you in the kitchen (no chafing dishes).

Once breakfast service has finished, you'll prepare any food you can for the following day, and possibly help in prepping ahead for any events the restaurant may be holding that day. You'll clear down, and will get off home to enjoy the rest of your day!

You'll need to be reliable as you will be opening the kitchen in the morning and will be the first person in. You may be someone who likes routine and is happy starting early and finishing early - enabling you to focus on non-work activities for the rest of the day!

You'll also need to be confident and keep a cool head when things get busy. We do anything from 20 - 40 cooked breakfasts on a daily basis so you'll need to be able to work methodically to ensure each dish goes out perfectly!
