The Team Member is responsible for interacting with customers and team members, supporting selling initiatives, and performing assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

As a Team Member, it is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, capable of fulfilling the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and be able to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  • Greet the Customer.
  • Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants.
  • Recommend Product Solutions.
  • Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Perform a variety of duties during 95% of the day, including but not limited to:
• Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures.
• Recovery of merchandise.
• Participate in freight processing.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures.
• Assemble merchandise.
• Perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes/markdowns.
• Operate Forklift and Cardboard Baler (unless under 18).
• Assist customers with loading purchases.
• Ensure a Legendary shopping experience and the safety of poultry birds.
• Complete all related documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience:

No experience required; retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; reading, writing, and counting skills necessary regardless of education level.

• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ethical conflict resolution.

• Indoor environment with moderate noise.
• Work shifts typically no less than 4 hours, may exceed 8 hours.
• Maintain a safe and productive environment following safety guidelines.

• Move and transfer merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
• Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders frequently.
• Operate store equipment safely.
• Read, write, and count accurately for documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Handle and care for birds/poultry.
• Complete all training and certification requirements.
