Inventory Control Clerk

Portbury, Bristol

Monday - Friday 14:00-22:00

£27,840 per annum, paid monthly.

• Keep goods in/out inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records up to date using our WMS.
• Look into damages, inventory adjustments, and shrink issues. Use PPE for cold store where required.
• Find products to ensure correct product , conduct cycle counts regularly and assist in physical inventories.
• Verify accuracy of shipping orders by checking stock numbers, pallet IDs, authorised substitutes against catalogues, manuals and product lists.
• Review files for unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products.
• Help with new goods in/out booking requests via Outlook and sometimes telephone.

• Previous experience of stock control.
• Previous experience of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Connect & AS400 system desirable. Willingness to learn is a must.
• Computer literate: confident user of Microsoft packages and Outlook.
• Excellent organisation and administration skills.
• Confident communicator both face‑to‑face and over telephone.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work within a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to drive to site in own vehicle.
