Role Overview

We’re looking for a Buying Assistant to support our Fashion and Custom Jewellery Category team, bringing detail, commercial curiosity, and excitement to the pace of buying in an international retail environment.

Opportunity

This role offers hands‑on experience across range planning, supplier management, product launches, pricing, and commercial analysis while working with fashion collections sold onboard cruise ships worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Buyer with range building and assortment planning across the fashion category
  • Manage product setup, pricing updates and data accuracy across systems (including Microsoft BC)
  • Support supplier communication, meetings and follow‑ups to keep ranges moving forward
  • Help track critical paths so new fashion launches land on time across multiple regions
  • Work with Merchandising to understand performance, stock levels and product opportunities
  • Assist with promotional activity, sample management and range reviews
  • Support Marketing, Operations and Finance teams to ensure smooth execution of launches
  • Maintain strong attention to detail across product data, pricing and supplier information
Desired Profile
  • Graduate looking to step into, or ready to step up into buying;
    Merchandising or Admin Assistant background preferred
  • Confident working with data, highly organised, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities at pace;
    Excel proficiency and a strong eye for accuracy essential
  • Interest in fashion and product, with comfort working behind the scenes to ensure proper execution; understanding that great buying is built on detail and relationships
  • Proactive, collaborative and eager to learn in a fast‑moving, global retail business
