Senior Store Assistant (Keyholder)
Location:
Avonmouth. 20 hours per week. Must live locally and be able to commute. Store open from 7 AM to 8 PM; must handle early starts and late finishes.
- Provide outstanding customer service, guide customers in their projects and product selection.
- Handle deliveries, unpack stock, restock shelves, and keep the store clean.
- Open and close the store as keyholder, assign daily tasks to the team, and provide short‑term supervisory cover when needed.
- Sell the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts, signing customers up to experience great deals.
- Support colleagues to deliver a great customer experience and maintain high store standards.
- Perform warehouse tasks and manage logistics.
- Friendly and enthusiastic personality.
- Reliable, punctual, flexible, and committed to customers and the team.
- Experience as a keyholder or supervising team members preferred (retail experience not essential).
- Willingness to roll up sleeves, work in varying temperatures, and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communicator who asks the right questions to understand customer needs.
- Accountable and ready to step up when required.
