The Hospitality Sales Executive is responsible for retaining, renewing and growing existing hospitality clients at Ashton Gate Stadium. The role focuses on maximising repeat bookings, contract renewals and incremental revenue through proactive relationship management, upselling and exceptional client experience.
Working closely with the Head of Hospitality Sales and Event Coordinators, the role ensures a seamless end-to-end client journey from sale through to matchday delivery. While new business opportunities will be identified where appropriate, the primary objective is revenue protection and growth from the existing client base.
This is a target-driven role requiring strong relationship management skills, commercial awareness and the flexibility to work matchdays and key stadium events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Client Retention & Account Management- Proactively manage a portfolio of existing corporate hospitality clients, acting as their main point of contact.
- Drive renewals of matchday hospitality bookings, seasonal packages and executive boxes.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell hospitality products to existing clients to increase average spend.
- Build strong long-term relationships by understanding client objectives and tailoring hospitality solutions accordingly.
- Attend matchdays and events to host clients, strengthen relationships and secure future bookings.
- Work closely with Event Coordinators to ensure a smooth handover and high-quality delivery, encouraging repeat business.
- Convert inbound enquiries from existing and lapsed clients.
- Identify warm new business opportunities through referrals, networking and matchday engagement.
- Promote the full range of Ashton Gate Stadium hospitality products including lounges, restaurants and executive boxes.
- Deliver against agreed retention, renewal and revenue growth targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records for client activity, renewals, pipeline and forecasts.
- Provide regular updates on renewal rates, rebook performance and revenue forecasts to the Head of Hospitality Sales.
- Work home matchdays and key stadium events as required.
- Support on-the-day hospitality delivery from a client relationship perspective, ensuring a premium guest experience.
- Conduct post-match follow-up to secure repeat bookings and feedback.
- Experience in sports hospitality, events or premium B2B sales
- Proven client retention, renewal or account management experience
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to upsell and grow accounts
- Highly organised with strong CRM and attention to detail
- Flexible to work matchdays, evenings and key events
- Revenue retained from existing clients
- Client satisfaction and matchday experience
- CRM accuracy and forecasting discipline
Salary:
Up to £32,000 per annum
Hours:
5 out of 7 days, including match days evenings and weekends
