This is an excellent opportunity for experienced New/Business Development Executives from an IT MSP, SaaS, or similar B2B environment, to play a vital part in the continued growth of a very reputable MSP through the acquisition of new clients.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be a self-motivated, ambitious, approachable and enthusiastic individual, with a passion for New Business/Client Business Development.
With excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering outstanding results, you will be responsible for generating, qualifying, engaging, & converting new client opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building to deliver high value, recurring revenues & margin.
A service-focused, consultative sales role, centred on selling West Spring’s IT Managed Services, Security & Cyber Solutions, Cloud Services, Connectivity, and Hosted Voice solutions, this is a ‘win & hand-over’ sales role. It is not account management or order taking, so you must be comfortable picking up the phone, cold calling, networking, using Linkedin etc to identify new prospective clients, and then managing the sales journey, before pitching & closing high-value solutions - all whilst ensuring a fantastic client experience.
MainResponsibilities
Lead Generation:
- Conduct proactive cold outreach including calls, emails, Linked In, attending networking events etc
- Build and maintain ‘ideal client’ prospect lists and accurately track activity in Hub Spot / CRM
- Use a range of tools to identify key decision makers
- Capture and track contract renewal dates for target prospects
- Follow up on inbound leads & enquiries
Meetings & Pipeline Development
- Book and attend introductory client meetings
- Understand client requirements, needs & preferences, to provide appropriate IT support solutions
- Drive, manage and grow pipeline through strategic planning and execution
- Maintain an accurate pipeline and deliver accurate forecasting
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services after client onboarding
- Work with Technical teams to scope appropriate service focused solutions
Networking & Brand Positioning:
- Represent West Spring at local business networks, professional groups, and events
- Sharing the West Spring way to generate high value, ideal client leads
- Build strong local relationships within 1-1.5 hour radius of Bristol
Sales Execution
- Pitch and present West Spring’s IT Managed Services, Security & Cyber Solutions, Cloud Services, Connectivity, and Hosted Voice value propositions.
- Develop tailored proposals that encompass the customers’ needs and objectives
- Work with Sales Director to close consultative, value-led deals
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales journey
Performance & Reporting
- Meet and exceed new client, revenue, & profit targets
- Deliver against performance KPIs
- Prepare and present regular weekly reports on performance metrics
- Build, manage and report on a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Maintain high-quality CRM records
Collaboration
- Work with our Onboarding, Technical, & Operations teams deliver the highest quality of onboarding, hand-over, and the seamless delivery of high-quality service
