Salary - £20,000 with uncapped OTE of £50,000

The normal working hours are 45 hours per week, worked over 5 days: 4 weekdays and a Saturday on one fixed shift pattern.

Vanbase is looking for a motivated Commercial Sales Consultant to join our small, dynamic Avonmouth team. Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver an Exceptional Customer

    Experience:

    Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers, guiding them through vehicle choices and showcasing our range of products with enthusiasm.
  • Drive Sales Success:
    Convert test drives and enquiries into successful purchases, consistently meeting or exceeding both personal and team sales and profit targets.
  • Stay Knowledgeable and Confident:
    Keep up-to-date with our diverse and evolving product range and services to confidently support customers in making informed decisions.
  • Collaborate for Success:
    Work closely with your Business Manager and the wider team to maximise the value of each transaction. In our smaller team, collaboration, communication and mutual support are key to achieving success together.
Person Specification:
  • Full, valid UK driving licence.
  • A strong drive for success and commitment to achieving both individual and team targets.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating positive customer experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
  • Previous experience within a busy sales environment.
  • Automotive industry experience is advantageous but not essential - full training will be provided.
  • 31 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays), increasing to 35 with long service
