Position: Commercial Manager - House Builder Team

Commercial Sales Manager – House Builder Team

Field based role covering Wales and the South West. Competitive salary & benefits, plus company car and bonus.

Marshalls Bricks and Masonry is a leading supplier of bricks, walling and masonry to the construction industry.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop sales opportunities within the house‑builder and construction sectors.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key house builder customers and stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute a personalised business plan to achieve sales budgets.
  • Improve the efficiency of sales processes, monitor and report on KPIs, and provide accurate forecasts.
  • Support the pricing structure and negotiate favourable trading agreements.
  • Represent the business at customer events and reviews.
  • Contribute to shaping the wider sales strategy and driving sustainable growth.
  • Maintain and grow sales of external bricks and masonry products in line with ambitious targets.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience within the house‑builder and construction sector with an existing network of contacts.
  • Experience in the bricks & masonry market (or wider construction industry) highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving profitability.
  • Excellent relationship‑building, stakeholder management, negotiation and contract‑management skills.
  • Commercially astute with strong financial and data‑analysis abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and problem‑solving skills; confident and persuasive with stakeholders.
  • Rapid learning of new product ranges and market routes.
  • Full driving licence required.
