Head of Business Development; Private Client

Position: Head of Business Development (Private Client)

Head of Business Development Private Client – senior level strategic role with client facing element in ambitious law firm. The business development and marketing team of this ambitious national law firm is being given a new lease of life with greater investment and a more sophisticated approach. The firm’s private client capability offers not only services to high net worth individuals but is also looking to develop its mid-market capabilities targeting professionals and business owners.

Specifically the role will involve:
Working with the partners to develop the business development strategy for the private client group;
Running the firm’s intermediaries and referrers programme. Developing relationships with both existing intermediaries and referrers and networking/proactive outreach to new ones;
Identifying opportunities in the market and developing a business development pipeline through to conversion;
Working with the corporate and commercial groups to cross-sell;
Working with the marketing team to ensure that marketing activity and campaigns generate leads; ROI and measurement;
Leading and developing a high performing team. Note that this role can be based in London, Manchester, Birmingham or Leeds. You will have a significant experience in a business development and leadership role as well as being a private client specialist with a strong understanding of the private wealth intermediaries market. Most importantly, you will have contacts within private wealth that you can exploit together with the partners.
