- Role & Responsibilities:
As a Travel Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional travel experiences by creating tailor-made holiday itineraries and ensuring a seamless booking process. Engage with customers and travel agents to create tailor made & package holidays. Deal with incoming calls and emails and proactively follow up on warm leads to achieve and exceed sales targets. Obtain detailed customer requirements and deliver exceptional service to create tailored holiday experiences.
Use booking systems to book all elements of a customer's holiday. Identify new sales opportunities to drive repeat business. Provide outstanding customer service from initial inquiry to post-travel support. Travel Specialist
- Skills & Experience Required:
Proven travel sales experience, from tour operations, retail travel or travel homeworking with a sales focused / target driven approach. A passion for travel and strong varied destination knowledge, specifically to Europe. A desire to provide exceptional customer service at every touch point throughout the booking and post sales journey. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build a strong rapport with customers over the phone and email.
Ability to manage and prioritise workload, highly organised with a flexible and adaptable work style. Strong attention to detail with accurate grammar and numerical skills. A motivated, results-driven mindset with a can-do attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft applications and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Experience using a GDS system such as Amadeus is beneficial but not essential. Travel Specialist
- Additional Information Basic salary of £25k to £28k (depending on experience) plus tiered monthly commission and lucrative uncapped OTE. Hybrid working, minimum of 2 days per week in the office. 37.5 hours per week working 5 days out of 7 with shifts worked between the hours of:
Monday to Thursday 09.00 to 20.00, Friday: 09.00 to 18.00, Saturday: 09.00 to 17.30 & Sunday: 10.00 to 16.00. Weekends are worked on a rota basis. 25 days holiday (increasing with service up to an extra 3 days) & holiday purchase scheme. Birthday day off.
