Business Development Manager

ALS Recruiting is working with a leading Freight Forwarder within the Freight and Logistics industry to find an experienced Business Development Manager.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a proven background in freight forwarding sales who is looking for a role with earning potential.

• Building strong relationships with clients and identifying long-term opportunities
• Taking a consultative approach to understand customer requirements and offer the right solutions
• Negotiating commercial agreements that work for both the customer and the business
• Working closely with operations, customs and internal teams to ensure a smooth service delivery

• Proven experience in freight forwarding sales
• Strong understanding of Air, Sea and/or Road Freight
• Confident in managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to closing
• Commercially aware, relationship-driven and comfortable dealing with decision-makers
• Someone who can represent the business professionally and bring a strong new business mindset
