Location: Bristol, England, United Kingdom

As an Aquatic Ecologist, you will
  • Conduct aquatic surveys (land and boat‑based)
  • Work with taxonomic specialists and large datasets
  • Produce technical reports and support planning applications
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on high‑profile projects
  • Advocate for health and safety and plan survey delivery effectively
Here’s what you’ll need
  • Background in aquatic ecology
  • Experience in taxonomy and ecological sample analysis
  • Delivery of aquatic surveys in UK environments
  • Strong data analysis and technical report writing skills
  • Flexible approach with regular UK/Ireland travel
  • Inquisitive mindset and willingness to learn
  • Ability to adapt to a wide range of projects
