About You

You are a calm, confident and approachable professional who understands that the student experience is at the heart of everything we do, while recognising your role in supporting the wider university community, including staff and visitors.

You communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and feel confident adapting your approach depending on the situation—whether supporting a distressed student, assisting a member of staff, or helping a visitor navigate campus safely.

Resilient under pressure, you remain composed in challenging and emergency situations, making sound decisions that prioritise safety, wellbeing and a positive experience. You understand when to take action, when to provide support, and when to‑escalate appropriately.

As a team player, you work collaboratively with colleagues and university partners to deliver a consistent, high‑quality service that reflects our commitment to a safe, inclusive and student‑focused environment for all.
