- 2 x Fixed Term for 12 months, Full Time, Day Shift 07:30 – 19:30, covering sickness
- Permanent, Full Time, Night Shift 19:30 – 07:30
- Permanent, Part Time, Night Shift 19:25 hours per week 19:30 – 07:30
- Night shift full‑time: 4 days working, 4 days off.
- Night shift part‑time: 2 days working, 6 days off.
- Day shift: 2, 2, 3 or 4 days working, 4 days off (subject to vacancies). For the 2, 2, 3 sequence – Week 1: 2 days working, 2 days off, 3 days working;
Week 2: 2 days off, 2 days working, 3 days off.
All roles include Bank Holiday and weekend working in line with the shift pattern.
Requirements- Police NPPV2 FULL vetting – requires 3 years UK residency; failure to meet residency will result in no clearance.
- Enhanced DBS Check.
- Good IT skills and confidence in using Microsoft Office.
- Deliver solution‑oriented customer care in a state‑of‑the‑art, multi‑purpose Operations Centre that operates 24/7, 365.
- Respond to Telecare emergency calls, provide reassurance and arrange the appropriate response for the most vulnerable.
- Operate Telecare and security alarm platforms, surveillance camera systems, telephony, intercom, radio, car‑park and concierge services.
- Work creatively and innovatively within the new Operations Centre to improve services for the people of Bristol.
- Ensure excellent communication, customer service and accuracy; liaise with public, internal and external customers; use initiative to solve problems.
